Lasse Marhaug

Lasse Marhaug is well-known musician on the experimental scene worldwide. Since the early 90th he has established himself as most famous and prolific noise/electronic/improv artist from Norway.

He is half of superb duo Jazkamer and also the member of groups DEL, Origami Replika, Sleazy Listeners, Tectile Hazard etc. His interests in experimental music are everywhere: from free jazz and avant-rock into live electronic improvisations to noise, drones, ambient and field recordings.

Also Lasse has a number of collaborations with different artists such as Merzbow, Aube, Fe-Mail, Maja S. Ratkje, Spunk, Kevin Drumm, Francisco Lopez, Government Alpha, Paal Nilssen-Love, Mats Gusstaffson, Frode Gjerstad, Anla Courtis, Ronnie Sundin, Helge Sten, Carlos Giffoni and others.

Needs to say that also Lasse is get on with graphic design (usually for CDs and books), photography and various collage techniques.

Total quantity of Lasse releases is now more than 100 CDs, CD-Rs, LPs, 7's and cassettes.
