Andrew Liles is a prolific solo artist, producer, remixer from England. He has been recording since the mid 80’s and has appeared on over 100 releases. Quite often he has described as “certainly the last alchemist of experimental music”.

In wide technical sence, his very personal and unique style stands on well-known method of creating collage-type compositions, were electronic and acoustic timbres, drones, unexpected cut-ups and voices, field recordings and stolen sounds are weaving into exotic and deeply emotional soundscapes. Nevertheless, being a quite abstract shaped, Liles’ music is always extremely focused in it’s content, as it basic on particular concept and well-manifested ideas.

Andrew Liles is sometime member of bands Nurse With Wound and Current 93.
